The Goon One Shot: Theatre Bizarre is a Halloween special with killer clowns, burlesque queens and everyone’s favourite carnival strong man The Goon going one on one with the evil Zombo.

If The Goon One Shot: Theatre Bizarre was any better you couldn’t afford it! Based on the real life Theatre Bizarre held every year in Detroit, the brainchild of artist John Dunivant who provides an excellent variant cover for this issue, it begins with a foggy night and a wrong turn that leads to a sinister carnival.

True, in The Goon One Shot: Theatre Bizarre there’s the tantalising Roxi D’Lite strutting her stuff but no amount of tassel-twirling can detract from the fact this is the creepiest bunch of sideshows ever assembled and when Franky promises the burlesque babe anything she wants you just know it’s going to end badly.

In The Goon One Shot: Theatre Bizarre it does end badly for someone, but not who you might expect which makes it a perfect ending for the reader. The Goon One Shot: Theatre Bizarre is perfectly drawn, expertly plotted and the best read you are likely to find this or any other month.

Buy The Goon One Shot: Theatre Bizarre now or Zombo the Clown will be really annoyed and you wouldn’t want now would you?
