If spider’s creep you out, you might want to give the cover of Pathfinder: Hollow Mountain #4 a wide berth. He may be a personal friend of Peter Parker but he has seriously bad intentions towards the silver-haired woman caught in his web. Her name is Merisiel and, along with her companions, she is beset by a whole army of nasties in Pathfinder: Hollow Mountain #4.

Another band of plucky inter-species allies has invaded a giant’s dungeon and get ambushed as they try to decipher some ancient runes. Pathfinder: Hollow Mountain #4 plays out like a Tolkien/Conan hybrid.

Pathfinder: Hollow Mountain #4 may be a touch over wordy but it is a beautifully drawn piece of fantasy fiction. All the usual elements are there; the quest; the evil demon lord; more besties than you can shake a stick at and a band of heroes, hopelessly outnumbered but plucky to the end. Pathfinder: Hollow Mountain #4 is fun for all the family – unless you don’t like spiders, in which case you’re best staying at home in the Shire.
