Based on Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead movies, Furious Road #5 is a smorgasbord of horror characters including Ash, Dracula and Frankenstein’s monster.

Quick re-cap in Furious Road #5 for those that came in late: Ash has unleashed nameless evil on the world by mistake, Frankenstein’s monster has literally lost his head, although, to be accurate, his head is the only part of him he hasn’t lost and Dracula has taken the monster hunter Eva to meet a group of kung-fu monks

Furious Road #5 is screwball comedy meets gory horror-fest with possibly the greatest cast of characters ever assembled (and when I say ‘assembled’, I mean it always pays to keep some duct tape handy!) You’ll laugh, you’ll cry . . .no, actually you’ll just laugh because this is fun with a capital ‘F’.

For Furious Road #5 you don’t have to have seen the Evil Dead movies, you don’t even have to have read the previous four issues, everything you want  to know is right here in the pages of Furious Road #5. Pure delight from Nancy A. Collins and Kewber Baal who must be asking themselves: ‘Do they really pay us for enjoying ourselves this much?’
