How about this for a dream team supreme: Tarzan, John Carter and Red Sonja. I know, right? It’s like I’ve died and gone to pulp fiction heaven.

But wait, there’s more. Erik Mona has lined up whole new batch of characters to augment the veterans whose position above the masthead is surely going to attract the eye. We have: Valeros the fighter, Seoni the sorcerer, Kyra the cleric and Merisiel the rogue. As they hunt their enemy Thulgroon through the sewers they suddenly find themselves in another world where they meet…well, in Pathfinder Woprldscape #1, they only get to actually meet Red Sonja and it’s just as well that barbarian warriors can talk at the same time as fight otherwise our motley crew would butcher each other without realising who they were and we wouldn’t have a story.

Erik Mona wisely makes Pathfinder Worldscape #1 chock full of action with just the barest hint of backstory. Full-on barbarian fun and games and a cast of characters to drool over if only to find out how they all ended up in the same place. Pure enjoyment in the classic tradition and definitely one to pick up.
