So, to begin with Green Valley #2, the artists Giuseppe Camuncoli and Cliff Rathburn do a superb job – the attention to detail is astonishing and will hold the reader’s attention throughout. The colours and inks jump out of the page.

However, the plot in Green Valley #2 feels like a filler, there wasn’t much going on – it’s leading to something somewhere but the narration is never fully sure of itself. And the last page with the ‘oh so obvious’ cliff-hanger, seems tagged on.

The character development for Green Valley #2 works and engages and the setting is also very nicely done.

Don’t expect anything exciting with this issue of Green Valley #2, I assume the sequel will answer questions on what’s next for these characters – and what they will do from there.
