Grand Passion #4 Dynamite

‘Nude With A Gun’ could have been the title for Grand Passion #4. If that ain’t enough of a hook, then the opening pages of Grand Passion #4 which features both Mac (the only good cop in town) and Mabel (a gal from the wrong side of any tracks you care to mention) wearing nothing but a couple of automatics, just isn’t going to do anything for you. The fact that they’re surrounded by crooked cops looking to ventilate their hides does nothing to make them want to cover their blushes in anything remotely useful, like, Kevlar for example.

The naturists answer to Bonnie and Clyde in Grand Passion #4, don’t manage to get into clothes until page ten but when they do, they come out guns blazing. Grand Passion #4 is basically one extended shoot-out with the bad guy sheriffs determined to snuff out everyone.

Grand Passion #4 is a “must read” if you like non-stop action, profanity, cinematic art from Tom Feister and, oh, yes, did I mention the nudity? Everything builds to a truly explosive ending with the promise that this story arc will be concluded.

James Robinson has, in Grand Passion #4, created a modern classic and one story arc just isn’t going to be enough. However this ends, more Passion is definitely called for.
