Paramount Pictures has debuted the third trailer from “Star Trek Beyond,” which prominently features Rihanna’s “Sledgehammer” from the film’s soundtrack.

Directed by Justin Lin, the sequel to 2013’s “Star Trek Into Darkness” sends the Enterprise crew into the farthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a mysterious new enemy who puts them and everything the Federation stands for to the test.

Opening July 22, “Star Trek Beyond” stars Idris Elba, Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton Yelchin and Karl Urban.
