Special Notes: Several months back, we looked at the plethora of vintage reprints being offered in the comics market, and thought we’d better pull back on our own. Even though we pioneered the whole thing, and frankly DO it better than anyone else, we didn’t want to be caught in a glut on the market, so we dialed back on our long-running Men Of Mystery title. We only solicited ONE issue since October of 2011; #87,  which we will actually ship in a few weeks, in September.

Much to our surprise, sales on THAT issue were higher than ever. In light of that, we’ve put MOM back on the schedule on a regular basis. When the buying public speaks with their wallets, AC Comics listens! In addition to that, we are increasing the frequency of publication on our Crypt of Horror  reprint anthology, which features  classic 1950’s Pre-Code horror comics stories.

But perhaps the best is yet to come- next month, in solicitations for January, 2013.  As it happens, that month marks the 30Th birthday of AC Comics; it was in January, 1983 that THE VERY FIRST AC Comic book- Fun Comics #4 shipped through distributors. In honor of that, AC will be releasing a special birthday edition of it’s long-running signature series; the 162nd issue of FEMFORCE!! FF #162 will feature multiple alternate covers, guest artists, autographed editions and  a FULL COLOR section!! These birthday specials will ONLY be available as Diamond exclusives as part of the initial solicitation for comic shops, so interested parties should not count on buying them from the accomics.com web store after the fact.  Be sure not to miss FEMFORCE #162 among the solicitation offerings for January, 2013.
