‘Marvel’s The Avengers’ sequel heads to the Age of Ultron in 2015!
Marvel has announced the title of the sequel to blockbuster hit Marvel’s The Avengers, and in doing so, revealed the villain our beloved heroes will battle against.
Marvel Studio’s President Kevin Feige announced the title to the Avengers sequel – Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron and from it, we now know which villain our Avengers will face in the film itself.
Writer and director Joss Whedon spoke to Marvel about the film, stating that, “Because we called it Age of Ultron, and there was a book ‘Age of Ultron’, people assumed that was the story line we’re doing, which is not the case. We’re doing our own version of the origin story of Ultron…We’re basically taking the things from the comics for the movies that we need and can use, so a lot of stuff has to fall by the wayside. But we’re crafting our own version of [Ultron], where his origin comes more directly from the Avengers we already know about.”
