The photo, tweeted by Singer himself, was accompanied by the titling, “Brightest set I’ve ever filmed on”, and shows the film crew shooting scenes of Quicksilver at a frame rate of 3600, which should help to create the hyper-fast movements of Quicksilver in the film itself.

Singer has also revealed that the Scarlet Witch will not appear in DOFP, though Josh Helman will be playing the role of young General Stryker.  Most of the Days of Future Past action takes place in 1973, but the future scenes in the film are set 10 years after X3.

The film is set to hit theatres on May 23th, 2014.
