UNPRECEDENTED DEMAND CAUSES 3-D MOTION COVER BOOKS TO SELL OUT

DC has announced that it has had to allocate its books with 3-D Motion Covers due to extraordinary demand for its September 52 Villains Month 3-D Motion Covers.

The allocations will range widely, and will be based on retailers’ orders of each of the Villains Month’s base titles over the past few months.

As the 3-D Motion Cover books have already sold out, only standard 2-D editions of the books’ covers will be listed for the Final Order Cutoff offering for DC’s September books.  The Villains Month books with 2-D covers, however, will all be first printings, and DC will be presenting all of the 3-D Motion Covers again with the Villains Month 3-D Motion Complete Set in December.  The final order cutoff date for the December shipping Villains Month 3-D Motion Complete Set, though, is August 12th (tomorrow), due to the time it takes to manufacture the 3-D covers.
