WEB COMIC TO PREMIERE AS FIRST PRINT EDITION AT CARDIFF FILM AND COMIC CON

James Moran is to appear at the inaugural Cardiff Film and Comic Con, where he will premiere the first print edition of Eponymous, a strip that so far only appeared as a web comic.

One of the two lead features in the digital Vs Comics, the story is drawn by Martin Simmonds. It is written by Mike Garley, who edits Vs Comics in conjunction with Moran, who also authors the anthology’s other main strip, Day and Night, which is illustrated by Patrick Walsh.

Simmonds, Garley and Walsh will be appearing alongside Moran at the Cardiff show, which runs over the weekend of
August 31/September 1 at the Motorpoint Arena. Mike Stock, Vs Comics’ digital editor, will also be in attendance.

As well as writing the screenplays for Severance [2005], Cockneys vs Zombies and Tower Block [2012], James Moran has scripted episodes of Torchwood, Doctor Who, Primeval and Spooks. Vs Comics is his first significant comics venture.
