Today, the ASSOCIATED PRESS announced that DC Comics will be publishing a new weekly comic book series titled THE NEW 52: FUTURES END. 

Written by Jeff Lemire, Dan Jurgens, Keith Giffen and Brian Azzarello THE NEW 52: FUTURES END is set five years in the future.

Launching in stores across the country on Free Comic Book Day in May 2014, this series will be accessible to current fans and new readers alike.

“Past present and future [are] all colliding in this story line,” said Lemire.

The series begins with issue #0 and will be illustrated by Ethan Van Sciver.
