When new weekly series THE NEW 52: FUTURES END was announced last month via the ASSOCIATED PRESS, not many details were revealed.

Fans learned that characters Batman Beyond,  Frankenstein and Firestorm, would be involved and that the story would take place 5 years from the current DC Universe storyline.

If you thought you would have to wait until Free Comic Book Day to discover more about THE NEW 52: FUTURES END, you’re in luck! The writers, Brian Azzarello, Keith Giffen, Dan Jurgens, and Jeff Lemire have come together for the first time in a round table discussion with COMIC BOOK RESOURCES to exclusively discuss the storyline, characters, and their strategy in planning a year-long weekly comic book series.

Lemire reveals, “even though we’ve only revealed those three characters, the cast is quite large, and by no means are they the only characters we’re using. The cast must be getting close to 20 characters that we’re toggling between.” While Azzarello declares “That issue #0 is going to blow things up.”
