And the Buffyverse goes on and on!
Angel’s been having bad dreams so Fred talks him into going on holiday but Angel’s dark past catches up with him as his blood lusting days are turned into a tourist attraction in his Irish homeland.
At least with the printed page we don’t have to suffer David Boreanaz’s horrific Irish accent! Not sure how the Irish Tourist Board would feel about this since they end up in a creepier than usual boarding house and do the police in Ireland still wear pointed hats?
It’s all to do with inspiring fear and a timely reminder never to mess with someone who’s possessed; you just know it’s going to end badly. A guest appearance from Spike (now there’s someone who knows how to do a phony accent) gives the embattled pair some important news that sends them off into the sunset looking for their next adventure.
The likenesses are pretty good, even managing to capture Boreanaz’s goofy Neanderthal expression and Fred is just as cute as a button. Good clean fun for the Buffyites but given the title I thought there might be a bit more Faith.
