The Ghost Fleet #8, so there is a fair amount of catching up to do…..

It is about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and this is the last issue of The Ghost Fleet series so if you haven’t been reading it up until now it’s kind of a hard sell and there’s nothing here that will make you want to go out and ferret out the other seven issues.

The Ghost Fleet is a demon possession slugfest between less than memorable characters with a neat little coda, informing you how they all ended up years from now, designed to make you wish you’d had a chance to read all those adventures in between.

I’m guessing the two dudes on page one whining about the cancellation of The Ghost Fleet are Cates and Johnson (let’s think of it as their Steve Gerber moment). It fits and works with for creative team so far into self-parody they actually label a sound effect (meta) Boom.

Funniest line: Cats ain’t family.

Laffed like a drain. And you will too.
