In the otherworldly obscenity of King Tiger #3, Canthastius has been summoned to this world by King Tiger’s father, but if he wants to stay he needs a demonic Green Card in the form of a blood sacrifice from Tiger himself. Without even the prospect of a choccy biccie after his generous plasma donation, Tiger is naturally reluctant to comply.

In a sequence that would make Houdini puce with envy, Tiger escapes his bonds after leaping from a beleaguered helicopter and goes on the offensive. Even with Milo, Rikki and Lookfar on his side the odds still seem insurmountable but if they weren’t this really wouldn’t be much of a story in King Tiger #3.

Huge monsters, massive property damage and more ugly minions than you can shake a nunchaku at King Tiger #3 is a competent if not wholly original cross between Master of King Fu and Dr. Strange; with a high octane set-up for the series finale coming next. The characters could do with a bit more development but it shows promise and King Tiger #3 deserves another shot after this storyline comes to an end.
