In Postal #9 they call it Eden but then they stick a bag over your head before they let you enter which should give you some idea of what you’re letting yourself in for.
Not that Molly seems to care. She’s all smiles and singing a cheerful song until one of the many local weirdo’s gives her the unofficial welcome. Luckily Maggie is on hand to give her the real scoop and the FBI can’t even find Eden on Google maps which, as a reference, gives Postal a degree of up-to-date social relevance but which in a few years’ time may make it seem outdated. Oh, and remember that local weirdo I mentioned? He really should learn to take a hint because his second pass at Molly ends up in . . . well, I won’t spoil all the fun in Postal #9.
But, for Postal #9, it’s suffice to say that with the next issue moves to a Mature Content rating. Stylistically, Postal wears its TV credentials on its sleeve but is none the worse for that until it becomes one of your favourite shows that should have been cancelled three seasons ago but just won’t lay down and die.
Postal #9 is the basic mystery town that no-one knows about filled with society’s outcasts can have a limited lifespan, so enjoy Postal while you can.
