The first trailer for the Leonard Nimoy documentary, For the Love of Spock, will leave you absolutely misty eyed. It’s been just over a year since the death of the beloved actor, but his son Adam Nimoy has chosen the perfect tribute to remember him.

For the Love of Spock features interviews Adam conducted with Star Trek cast and crew from the original series to those in the new movie franchise. Including William Shatner (Captain Kirk) and George Takei (Hikaru Sulu) from the original series and director J.J. Abrams, Simon Pegg (Montgomery Scott), and narrator Zachary Quinto (Spock) from the 2009 series.

This remarkably bittersweet documentary is debuting at the Tribeca film festival this Saturday, April 16, 2016. It will then be made available to stream later this year, giving you plenty of time to stock up on some tissues, seriously you’re going to need tissues.
