Toho has released the first teaser trailer for Godzilla: Resurgence, and it doesn’t play coy with the character everyone’s paying to see. The King of the Monsters is shown in all his glory, his massive tale sweeping over building and panicked residents.

It’s, of course, a Japanese trailer, but there’s no dialogue, so you won’t feel as if you’re missing anything. It’s all visual, with nothing but ominous music and the ear-piercing roar of Godzilla.

Toho’s first Godzilla film in more than a decade,  Resurgence is co-directed by Hideaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion) and Shinji Higuchi (Attack on Titan). It’s expected to feature the tallest Godzilla yet, towering over the 108-meter creature depicted in Gareth Edwards’ 2014 U.S. film.
