Now, A Train Called Love # 8 has really passed me by and I never knew existed, but Garth Ennis (The Punisher) had always wanted to do a romance story. Ennis has managed to weave a twisted romance tale beginning with an insult but now involves FBI Agents, gangs, Nazis, Mista Monsta and taxidermists.
In A Train Called Love # 8, Mista Monsta freaks out Gustav Schmitt with the extent of his empire. Valerie and Myles remain undaunted by it, as they believe in their own form of divine intervention. On the flip side of things, Penny considers the fickle nature of love. Things start looking up for Mike. Yet, things are getting worse for Marv, as his decisions cause him to head down a foolish and dangerous path.
At first, I was kind of hesitant about A Train Called Love # 8, as it seemed to be a little out there for my liking. I really need to go back now and read parts 1-7, as A Train Called Love # 8 had me in stitches. It’s funny, it’s brash and Dynamite have done wonders allowing Ennis take this in the direction he wants to. I absolutely can not wait to read more.
Do yourself a massive favour and pick up A Train Called Love # 8.
