No Mercy #11 was a bit of a hit and miss for me. To start out – it does have some interesting characters and scenarios going on. However, No Mercy #11 didn’t keep me intrigued for long enough. The art style of Carla Speed McNeil is simplistic and doesn’t seem to want to take itself too seriously – reflective of the actual series. For that, I’ll give De Campi credit where it’s due.

On the plus side, in No Mercy #11, the writing is pretty well done, and I think it can relate to some readers and engage this dark and silly type of humour that college kids can get themselves into. If it makes you crack up, you know it’s doing its job and here in No Mercy #11 Alex De Campi manages that.

I will say that the last panel was quite humorous, and it does show some promise for the No Mercy series – but it just wasn’t for me and generally not my cup of tea.

If you like a decent read with some shenanigans here and there – pick up No Mercy #11 today.
