Sequel To New York Times Best-Selling Original Graphic Novel Based on ABC Primetime Hit Series Arrives October 2012

Marvel Entertainment and ABC Studios are proud to announce Castle: Richard Castle’s Storm Season, an all-new hardcover graphic novel inspired by the popular “Castle” television series. This 112 page hardcover, based the titular novel from noted author Richard Castle, hits comic shops, the Marvel Comics app, iBookstore, Nook Bookstore and everywhere books are sold on October 17th, 2012.

The start of an epic SAGA sells out

SAGA #1 gets a second printing

The first issue of SAGA, the new series from Image Comics by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples, has sold out of its first printing ahead of its March 14th release date. The new science fiction series, which marks Vaughan’s return to comics after the end of Ex Machina in 2010 and the highest profile work Staples has done to date, has been widely anticipated since its announcement at the 2011 Comic-Con International convention.

“Avengers VS X-Men” Spurs Historic First Major Comic Book AR Initiative

At the SXSW Interactive Festival, Marvel Entertainment unveiled Marvel AR, the first major augmented reality app from a comic book company. As part of the recently announced Marvel ReEvolution, which brings the world of print and digital media together for a comics experience like never before, the Marvel AR app powered by Aurasma will be released on April 2 for iOS and Android devices. Fans can first discover the power of this new app in Avengers VS X-Men #1, arriving in comic stores on April 4 and kicking off the comic book event of the year in which the world’s most popular Super Heroes go to war!

Peter Panzerfaust #2 Sells Out

Image Comics/Shadowline series continues success

PETER PANZERFAUST, the Image Comics/Shadowline series that places the classic character Peter Pan in World War II-era France, has sold out of its second issue at the distribution level a week before its in-store date of March 14. It has immediately gone back to press, and a second printing (JAN128290) will be in stores the same day as PETER PANZERFAUST #3 (FEB120514), April 11.
