Catch A Glimpse of Prince Henry’s Superhuman Powers In These Sketches

Earlier this month Vertigo announced THE ROYALS: Masters of War, an action packed new limited series arriving in February 2014.

Check out a sketch of series protagonist, England’s Prince Henry, who has superhuman powers and the cover sketch featuring some incredible looking military planes, all by artist Simon Colby.

When asked about drawing the book Colby said:

“Rob and I are both aviation enthusiasts. I thoroughly enjoyed rendering the various aircraft and vehicles of this WWII setting.” He continued, “The story itself is filled with personal drama and intrigue, set against the backdrop of a world at war with itself. It’s and amazing ride, which I feel sure our readers will enjoy.”
