A FORMER superheroine who is now the owner and sole employee of Alias Private Investigations, Jessica Jones is being brought to the small screen courtesy of Netflix.

The series stars Kristen Ritter as the eponymous heroine, who was created by Brian Michael Bendis and artist Alex Maleev, who introduced her in the 2001 first issue of Marvel’s Alias. Also among the cast are Mike Colter (as Luke Cage), Rachael Taylor (Trish “Patsy” Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth)and David Tennant (Kilgrave aka the Purple Man).

All 13 episodes of the first season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones will be available for download on Netflix from November 20.
