Zenescope announces Wonderland board game

Zenescope Entertainment has announced plans to release a board game based on its Wonderland series. The gameplay was designed by Matthew Wang and Brian David-Marshall, the team who worked on The Walking Dead board game  (based on the comic book) and the award-winning Twilight board games (based on the movies).  Art/graphic design was handled by Zenescope’s in-house graphic designer, Christopher Cote. The game is planned for a late summer 2012 release. The Wonderland comic book series was created by Joe Brusha, Ralph Tedesco, and Raven Gregory and is one of the company’s most popular series.

Swamp Thing gets a makeover

In tandem with Swamp Thing writer Scott Snyder, series artist Yanick Paquette has given DC’s shambling muck monster a whole new look. As revealed on the cover to issue #8 [pictured together with some of the artist’s concept sketches), the Len Wein/Bernie Wrightson creation now apparently has antlers (or maybe a crown) body armour, and boots made of bark as well as a really funky pair of wings.

Battleship – Shredders Attack Marine Base 2012

Battleship is one of the greatest (and oldest!) strategy games that exist on the planet. And as you might have already heard, Universal Pictures is turning Hasbro’s classic game into this huge epic action-adventure movie that pits man against alien in the battle of the century.
